The Blog's focus is on various photo shoot themes, with the intention to provide some insight on how I approach photo shoots and solve potential issues that could arise. Hopefully the blog will also share shome thoughts and ideas that you will be able to apply to future interactions with photographers and photo shoots.

One of the aspects of photography I enjoy is trying out new styles and techniques. Many end up what I call flash in the pan styles. Here today gone tomorrow. The ultimate underlying question is always;  Do these tricks and styles improve the photographs function and objective?

My professional focus is always on commercial photography.  When the photographs improve sales, exposure  and provide you with great images of your product then everyone is happy.  We all succeed.

Color Work Flow

Managing consistent colour accuracy in your images.

Color Work Flow

Color management at the time of image capture can save a lot of guessing and headaches down the road. One of the most difficult things to remember after a day of, or even one shot is the color of the image subject. One of the thoughts that has remained with me since being a student at Sheridan College was ; 40% of society is color blind in some form. This makes color management critical. Luckily digital photography introduced a lot of innovative solutions.
